The Backstreet CruiZers Cruisin’ For A Reason

In reconigition of our 10 year anniversary, the Backstreet CruiZers, made the decision to embrace the American Diabetes Association as a Primary fundraising project. Since Diabetes has an impact on so many of our friends, neighbors and guests we've committed ourselves to carry this mantra through our 11th year.

Our Goal will be to promote awareness and to assist in funding the Association for a cure by donations. Many of our friends and family are afflicted with this disease and we feel that we can make a difference while having a good time enjoying what we love..

It may surprise you that diabetes affects one out of every thirteen Americans. The American Diabetes Association's programs support our family, friends and neighbors living with the disease, which is often a struggle. And with devastating complications such as blindness, amputation, heart disease and kidney failure, diabetes is serious -- even deadly.

Even more frightening, diabetes can strike anyone at anytime. In fact, someone is diagnosed every 19 seconds..
